EACCELERATOR PHP crashed on opline X of putenv()

I get the Apache 2.2.8, PHP Version 5.2.1, Windows 2000 crashed frecuently with the subject error. The php lines with the problem are

- putenv("TZ=".$this->id);
- putenv("TZ=".$env_tz);
